Our Story
I began my working life as a furniture designer for commercial interiors. We produced beautiful furniture that was also ergonomic and practical for the user. Moving into metalwork my fundamental approach has continued to be informed by an interest in how pieces can be comfortable to wear but also look stunning.
I settled in the Surrey Hills in 1995 and began to learn metalworking skills beginning with copper wirework and progressing onto Sterling Silver and semi-precious gemstones.

My workshop is nestled in Ranmore Common, an area of wooded former common land on the North Downs, immediately northwest of Dorking.
By appointment, I can show you my workshop and chat about the tools and techniques that I use in my work. There is always something in progress and if you are particularly interested in a certain process I may be able to give you a demonstration.
I will also have some examples of finished pieces on display/sale and am happy to discuss any projects that you may have in mind.
If you are planning a day out in the Surrey Hills and want a pausing point to see something new then let me know.
