Celebrating the Surrey Hills
18th July 2018
An evening of celebration took place at Losely Park at the end of June to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Surrey Hills Society and the 60th anniversary of the Surrey Hills AONB. Hosted by Michael More-Molyneux, Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, in the beautiful Tithe Barn and attended by Dame Penelope Keith, Patron of the Surrey Hills AONB the evening was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Surrey Hills landscape.

The evening was well attended and there were a wide variety of stands showcasing the work and projects currently happeing in the Surrey Hills. Displays showcased; Surrey Wildlife Trust with their Hedgerow Heroes project, the GASP Motor project, the Tales of the Tillingbourne, the Community Foundation for Surrey, the Surrey Hills family and more….
Sponsorship for the event was kindly received from Playle and Partners. Local Surrey wine from Greyfriars Vineyard was served, providing a great opportunity to showcase our growing number of vineyards in the AONB.
