We cater for 30 ladies and gentlemen and offer affordable luxury accommodation and care, supporting people to live as they would in their own home. We offer apartments for singles or couples with kitchen and en-suite bathrooms and suites with en-suites, some with private gardens and all with beautiful views over the Hurtwood forest.

Come and relax in our fountain or wildlife gardens, enjoy home-cooked meals, enjoy meeting others in front of our log fire and benefit from all the support and care you need to maintain dignity and independence in older life.

We have remained 100% Covid-free throughout the pandemic. 80% of our staff have been with us for 5+ years.

We care for people over the age of 65, with frailty and mobility issues and those living with early stage dementia.

We are currently working through “Our bucket list of things we want to do before we are 101”. This year’s events include a trip to Buckingham Palace, Afternoon Tea at The Ritz and a day at the seaside.

Prices range from £950 to £1250 per week and are all-inclusive of all accommodation, care, meals, activities and outings.

Felbury House care home was built in 2012, having previously been partly the old school building and post office. There is a lot of heritage in the building, but the design of the home features very modern facilities. Our carbon footprint is very important to us, so solar energy and motion sensor lighting are used throughout as well as choosing local produce for all our meals to reduce carbon emissions from suppliers.

Having owned and run care homes for the past 40 years, we knew that living in Holmbury St Mary in such a beautiful place would be very special. We run the home how we would want to live and be treated, so there’s lots to do, the care staff are second to none and the home is immaculate.

We also work hard to remain competitively priced as we feel strongly that older people who work hard all their life should not then be penalised by the system that expects them to pay for all their care until all their life saving are gone. We charge a fixed rate, which does not fluctuate if a person is well or ill and everything is included so once you live at Felbury, all activities are included not just for those who have extra money to spend.

Our social commitment is 4 private suites, so even if funds run out no-one ever needs to leave once Felbury House is their home.

Love of the Surrey Hills

Our sensory and wildlife garden holds events through the summer months, such as mindfulness and gentle exercise classes for our friends and the community.

We invite children for half term activity camps which the Residents run. Story-telling, arts and crafts and games enjoyed by all.

We are main sponsors of The Abinger Hammer Teddy Bear’s Picnic and main sponsors of Albury Football Club, as well as sponsors of Holmbury Boys Bonfire night, Peaslake’s Concert by Candlelight and other various charitable yearly events.

We also run our own fundraising events such as our summer fete which usually raises over a £1000 a year for the Lifetrain Trust children’s charity (a legacy to the charity who used to live at Felbury House).
