We were founded by the Smart family in 2017 with the aspiration of creating a library of distinguished spirits inspired by history and reflecting the very essence of England. Our passion is to make the finest of spirits.
To make our spirits we knew we would need a unique copper still. We shared our ideas with an expert still maker who designed and made our bespoke still in Italy. She is a stylish solid copper 300 litre Carterhead with an infuser basket. This means she can make very distinctive spirits.
