15km Abinger, Snowdrops trail & White Down Circular Hike
Saturday, 18th February @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
$12.50A stunning new 15km/9mile route from Abinger Roughs to White Downs and along the Snowdrops trail. Starting and ending at Wotton Hatch.
Starting on Saturday 18th February from Wotton Hatch, 8 Minutes from Dorking, 20min from Guildford we’ll walk through woodland copses, including 200 year old Scotts and Corsican Pine trees and along easy footpaths with stunning views of the North Downs Way Ridge. Meet the unique Beech tree lovingly called ‘Witch’s Broom’ tree by locals before we head to White Down. After some uphill walking, we’ll reach this picturesque high spot set in the Surrey Hills above Abinger, with outstanding views and a variety of wildlife throughout the year. From there via the elevated Pilgrims way we head down into Westcott for a quick pitstop and back into Wotton.
This is a great training hike for upcoming hiking challenges including the Surrey Three Peaks in May or May Snowdon later in the year.
