Chiddingfold Community Conservation Volunteering Day

Join Surrey Hills Society and Chiddingfold Parish Council for a morning of conservation work as part of the Surrey Hills Conservation Volunteer Scheme. This is a free community event, open to all, and will be focused on maintaining the Memorial Wood in the beautiful village of Chiddingfold. Tasks will include: • Weeding and mulching around the base of trees • Loosening tree guards • Raking This will help to benefit species such as the Endangered Red Listed Wood White Butterfly as well as other local wildlife and help to maintain the wide variety of tree species found in the Memorial Wood.
