Nature connection forest bathing walk

Forest bathing is an evidence-based wellbeing activity: we walk slowly, immersing ourselves in the woodland atmosphere, taking our senses for a meander among the trees. Through sensory practices we learn how to enhance our perceptions and slow down, focusing on what could easily be missed. We end with a meditative ‘treelaxation’ and a woodland tea, and aim to leave you feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated.
Spending time in woodland has been shown to, amongst other benefits, boost our immune system for two+ weeks, balance blood pressure, reduce stress/cortisol levels, blood sugars, anxiety and rumination, as well as improve sleep, memory, concentration and creativity.
The undulating ground of this 22-acre private ancient woodland has a rich variety of trees, and adjoining gardens contain notable stately trees and two labyrinths. We are assured of no interruptions from dogs or bikes.
