Surrey Hills Artisan Events – Application Form

Celebrating and promoting local businesses and artisans in the Surrey Hills and the surrounding area

Thank you for your interest in having a stall at one (or more!) of these Surrey Hills Artisan Events.

To apply, please follow these steps:-

  1. Read about and then choose which events you would like to attend

2. Please read the terms and conditions

3. Complete the application form below

4. Email a copy of your Public Liability insurance certificate to Patrick@surreyhillsenterprises.co.uk

5. All applications will be assessed by the Surrey Hills team and are subject to approval based on our criteria of sustainability, local provenance and quality. Surrey Hills Members are given priority booking as well as a 25% discount off the stall fee

6. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 5 days of receipt.

7. Once you receive a confirmation please complete the Surrey Hills Events risk assessment form

  • Information about your stall

    All applications will be evaluated based on our policies on sustainability, local provenance and quality.
    As part of the application process, we ask that you be willing to consider running some sort of demonstration or free activity. This is to maximise interaction with visitors and support a buzzing atmosphere around the event.
  • Please indicate the cost and duration of the activity.
  • We give priority to stalls that are offering free demonstrations and activities to the visitors
  • Please be aware that pitch sizes and positions will be enforced. You will be required to bring your own gazebo/marquee. Tables will only be provided at the Xmas Fair and in the marquee at the Artisan Festival.
  • Electricity

    Limited electricity will be available at the events
  • Due to the site layout, mains electricity can be provided for caterers and craft machinery only. All other exhibitors can bring their own diesel generator which must be safe, clean and quiet. Due to safety, no petrol generators are allowed on site. Power for caterers can be supplied by the organisers at the following costs. Type of Power Outlet (prices are for the weekend and exclude VAT): Single 13A Domestic socket outlet £45 Single 16A Industrial socket outlet £70 Single 32A Industrial socket outlet £90 Please note that the position of your stall will be determined by the availability of electricity on site and the booking of electricity is subject to approval
  • Please confirm what you will require the electricity for and the KW required to enable us to advise on the level of electricity required
  • I understand that all electrical equipment used at the Surrey Hills Artisan Market must have a current PAT certificate, available on request.
  • Catering

  • I confirm that I will supply Surrey Hills with a copy of my food Hygiene certificate
  • Vehicle access

    There is designated car parking for exhibitors' vehicles for the large events (NOT for the Cranleigh or Guildford Market). All exhibitor cars will be parked in this area unless the vehicle is required as part of the stall. If this is the case please let us know by supplying the information below.
  • Please confirm acceptance that you will be set up by 9.30am and car re-parked
  • Surrey Hills Artisan Event Programme

    An online program will be available for the large events and a listing for the Artisan Markets All exhibitor cars will be parked in this area unless the vehicle is required as part of the stall. If this is the case please let us know by supplying the information below.
  • All stall holders will have an entry in the on line Event Programme which includes the name of your organsiation, contact details, an image and up to 30 words describing your organisation.
  • To ensure you get an image included in the programme please upload 2 or 3 here to include your product, an image of you and possibly your stall. The event image should have a max file size of 128MB. The Surrey Hills reserve the right to not publish your image on our website/in our event marketing material.
