Rhododendron and laurel clearance
This historical chestnut coppice required a grant to remove the invasive rhododendrons and cherry laurel from the area that is preventing a management plan from being executed. By clearing these invasive species it provides the chance for the different aged trees to regenerate, grow and produce more habitats for the local wildlife.
