Rainwater harvesting system Brockham Quarry
The Surrey Country Council Partnership applied for a grant of £2,544.08 to build and install a transportable rainwater harvesting system on the Bockham Chalk downlands. This was to enable them to graze sheep on the site as part of their conservation grazing effort, the aims of grazing the chalk downland are to increase biodiversity and help site specific species. The site was selected as some grazing infrastructure was already in place and the area has surrounding are chalk grasslands by that would also benefit from being linked together.
