Converse Inspiring View Car Park Friends of the Hurtwood

Holmbury Hill is home not just to sweeping views across the Surrey Hills and weald, but also hosts one part of the Inspiring Views series of artwork. 

Called Converse, this interactive installation is designed with accessibility in mind, with placements between the seating designed to fit wheelchair users into the circle.  

Until recently, this artwork has been an “access island” inaccessible to many with limited mobility. The accessible track leading to Converse having suffered damage for the final metres to the carpark.  

Through the Access Fund, Holmbury Hill now has two designated disabled parking spaces placed which are next to the new for the accessible path.
