Ramp and Handrail at Radius

Nestled high in the hedgeline on Denbies Hillside stands Radius. Part of the Surrey Hills Arts Inspiring Views, Radius gives visitors an opportunity to sit and drink in the view above the vineyard, with iconic sites like Box Hill and Leith Hill all on display.  

For many years this view has been largely inaccessible to all but the fittest of people willing to make the walk up the steep track and then descend the stairs.  

With the agreement of Denbies Wine Estate, Surrey Hills National Landscape commissioned work to create an access ramp which takes wheeled users straight to the artwork and its inspiring views. Additionally a hand rail was added to the steep steps.
