Try Nordic walking and turn every walk into a workout

Nordic Walking is a full body workout carried out using specially designed poles that use 90% of your body’s muscles, and help you burn 20% more energy than normal walking.
Surrey Striders runs regular walks all over the Surrey Hills and beyond – keeping fit, enjoying nature and being part of a lovely community of like minded walkers. We have a range of walks from easy and flat to hilly and fast!
We are holding a Learn To Nordic Walk session on Saturday 28th June at 10.30am. The location is Albury Sports Ground and the cost is £40 per person for the session, which will last up to 2 hours. Poles are provided and you will learn how to nordic walk safely and effectively.
