Forest & Fungi Magic Nature Exploration Walk
7 November 2025 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join us for a relaxed and immersive nature exploration walk along one of the most scenic stretches of the North Downs Way.
This 3-mile circular route is fairly easy, with just a few gentle 20–30m inclines, making it suitable for most fitness levels.
Over the course of the walk, we’ll connect deeply with the landscape through a variety of nature-based experiences, from FORAGING INSIGHTS and FOREST BATHING to uncovering NATURAL NAVIGATION clues and much more.
You’ll be in the company of like-minded nature enthusiasts, all eager to slow down, observe, and share in the wonder of the woods and downs. Everyone will be given a flask of warm wild tea and a seasonal wild treat for the walk.
SEASONAL HIGHLIGHT: As a special treat, we’ll also seek out the HEDGEHOG mushroom in the ancient beech forest of White Down.
Meeting Point: Near Abinger Roughs; the exact location will be emailed to all participants 5–7 days before the walk once you’ve signed up. Come along for a mindful morning outdoors, a blend of gentle walking, sensory awareness, and a touch of wild mushroom magic (the innocent kind!).
