Fishing pool restorations Wotton Fishing Club

The Wotton fishing club applied for £25,650.00 to enable essential restoration works of 5 historical pool weirs that had developed leaks and threatened the integrity of the weirs themselves if not restored.  

The pools are a heritage feature within the Surrey Hills landscape and can be seen at multiple points across the valleys from Rights of Way. The restoration of the weirs will enable the pools to hold the capacity of water they should, having positive benefits to the wildlife in the surrounding valleys.
