Join us for a grounding and creative session where you’ll craft your own aromatic herbal bundle, often known as a smudge stick, using seasonal plants, flowers, and intention.
GROUND. In this slow, sensory workshop, we’ll begin by gently arriving into the space with a grounding breath and a short reflection on the plants we’ll be working with.
HISTORY. You’ll learn about the history and traditional uses of smoke cleansing across cultures, with a focus on using herbs in a respectful, sustainable, and intentional way.
LEARN. We’ll introduce each plant, such as lavender for calm, sage for cleansing, mugwort for dreams, and yarrow for protection and energetic boundaries, inviting you to explore their textures, scents, and meanings before choosing your own combination. If the season allows, we may gather some of the herbs directly from the land.
CREATE. Then, with string, plant matter, and quiet focus, you’ll handcraft your own smoke bundle, weaving in your personal intention as you go. This is a mindful, meditative process, less about perfection, more about connection.
GRATITUDE. We’ll end with a short reflection, holding our bundles and offering a quiet thank you to the plants, the process, and ourselves.
You’ll leave with: 2 handmade herbal smoke bundles; A deepened connection to plant allies; An understanding of how to use your bundle respectfully for scent, space clearing, or ritual; A sense of calm, creativity, and intention. This session is about more than crafting, it’s about presence, connection, and seasonal slowing.
