This walk takes you around the beautiful village of Blackheath near Guildford nestled in stunning pine forests and colourful heathland. During spring these slopes turn into carpets of purple haze, with its native bluebells transforming the heathland into stunning scenery.
Simone is a local hiking guide and we will guide you on some of the most beautiful bluebell paths with stunning views to take time to appreciate natures awakeing and with its new spring growth.
Your Co-host Jen Slade is a nature enthusiast and will happily share some of the mysteries of the Bluebells in England, and there will be plenty more to be observed in this species-rich forest. Blackheath is a SSSI, Site of special scientific interest.
