Summer Solstice in the New Forest – 20km Hike , Yoga and Soundbath
20 June 2026 @ 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with an adventurous 20km New Forest hike, followed by a restorative Yin Yoga and Soundbath session.
Join us for an adventurous 20km New Forest hike, beginning in Frogham, where we’ll climb to a beautiful heather-covered ridge with sweeping views across the woods and heathland of the Northern New Forest. As we journey through ancient oak and beech woodlands, cross gentle streams, and emerge onto the open expanse of Fritham Plain, we’ll take time to tune into the landscape, the season, and the abundance that surrounds us.
Along the way, we’ll explore the forest’s rich history while mindfully connecting with nature — observing wildlife, seasonal changes, and the quiet resilience of this unique landscape.
As the day draws to a close, we gather at Sandleheath Village Hall for a deeply restorative experience. Liz will guide a gentle intention-setting ceremony, followed by a nourishing yin yoga practice and immersive sound bath — helping you to slow down, reflect, and carry the energy of the solstice forward.
