Join us for a special 3-hour summer walk, led by Paul Ritchie—biologist, artist, and passionate tree expert.
SUMMER
Join us for a special 3-hour summer walk, when the woodland is in full leaf and alive with energy. Led by Paul Ritchie—biologist, artist, and passionate tree expert—you’ll experience the forest at its most vibrant, with sunlight filtering through the canopy and life flourishing all around, as we follow a gentle route along the river.
KNOWLEDGE
With a deep understanding of both the science and spirit of trees, Paul will guide us through our native species, weaving together insights from biology, Celtic traditions, folklore, the Ogham alphabet, and the Celtic Tree Calendar.
CONNECTION
As we journey through the landscape, walking alongside the flowing river, you’ll begin to see trees not just as part of the scenery, but as living beings with stories to tell—rooted in cultural history, symbolism, and spiritual meaning.
WISDOM
This walk offers a chance to deepen your relationship with the natural world, tuning into the wisdom of trees at the height of their seasonal expression, and reconnecting with ancient knowledge that still resonates today.
INVITATION
Perfect for nature lovers, foragers, and anyone curious about the quiet intelligence and presence of trees, this is an opportunity to slow down, observe, and rediscover the richness of the living landscape.
The walk is a very gentle walk less than 1 mile.
