An unforgettable seven-day journey through the Scottish Highlands, following the iconic West Highland Way from Milngavie to Fort William.

Walk 96 miles through some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery, from woodland and countryside to the shores of Loch Lomond, dramatic glens and Highland mountains.

Presented by MJ Outdoors Adventures & Back on Track, this is a self-guided walking adventure with the major logistics taken care of for you. You’ll have the freedom to walk at your own pace, with detailed route information, luggage transfers and a highly trained support team with you throughout the trip.

Summary of West Highland Way Itinerary:

12 miles / 19km
A scenic and relatively gentle introduction to the West Highland Way, travelling through woodland and open countryside, including Mugdock Country Park. Camping overnight.

Day 2 – Drymen to Rowardennan:
15 miles / 24km
Climb Conic Hill for spectacular panoramic views and your first unforgettable sight of Loch Lomond, before descending towards the loch and continuing to Rowardennan. Overnight in a modern private hostel, in small rooms reserved for our group.

Day 3 – Rowardennan to Inverarnan:
14 miles / 22.5km

12 miles / 19km
Leave Loch Lomond behind and follow beautiful Glen Falloch through woodland and open countryside as the landscape becomes increasingly mountainous. Overnight in modern camping pods.

Day 5 – Tyndrum to Kingshouse:
19 miles / 30.5km
The longest and one of the most spectacular days of the adventure. Pass the historic Bridge of Orchy before crossing wide, open moorland surrounded by magnificent Highland mountains. Overnight in modern camping pods.
