Established in 1913, the 18-hole course, designed by five-times Open Champion James Braid, provides a challenging and rewarding golfing experience, which encourages a modern and progressive attitude.
Just two miles south of Guildford on the A281, Bramley Club is easily accessible from all directions. We are welcoming, friendly and inclusive and visitors can enjoy the golf course and our modern, comfortable and well-equipped clubhouse.
We pride ourselves in always presenting the course in the best possible condition, with fantastic practice facilities, including a covered practice range and one of the best teaching PGA Professionals in Surrey – Nick English.
Our spectacular clubhouse serves excellent refreshments and gives the warmest of welcomes to members and visitors in equal measure. The course frequently receives a 4-star rating on golf course apps and very positive testimonials about our bar and restaurant. We were recently awarded a ‘Guildford in Bloom’ Gold award in the container plants category and are delighted to have been awarded the Surrey Hills Trademark award – representing the quality and excellence in our Club.
Our Story
Established in 1913, the 18-hole course, designed by five-times Open Champion James Braid, provides a challenging and rewarding golfing experience which encourages a modern and progressive attitude. We are a quality golf course and continue to re-invest in developing the facilities in a highly respected area of the Surrey Hills AONB.
Our Love of the Surrey Hills
Bramley Golf Club is fully supportive of the AONB expansion project and has recently contacted the Countryside Conservation Trust concerning the Land Manager Cluster. We are engaged in reducing our environmental impact in several ways and are addressing all areas to endeavour to become a more sustainable business, whilst joining the local community in addressing our carbon footprint. We have a woodland management plan which includes the planting of mature native species trees which will attract wildlife and encourage biodiversity. At the same time, we are installing bird boxes and leaving wild areas as wildlife habitats.
We look forward to being able to collaborate with many Surrey Hills members in using local suppliers wherever possible and economically viable, driving ‘best practice’ within our club. As a significant landowner in the area, we are actively reaching out to other clubs in the area to drive collaborations, promoting golf as a leisure activity in the Surrey Hills, as well as creating beautiful places for nature to thrive and for residents and visitors to visit and enjoy.
