I’m Gina, the face behind ‘by Gina’. trained Graphic designer and avid crafter and now glass artist. Being a small business owner means I have to wear many hats: designer, maker, art director, photographer, marketeer, shop keeper, among just a few.

It can be quite full on.

In 2017, I went on a lamp-working (glass bead-making) course and was totally hooked. So much so, that I bought my own torch, kiln and glass rods to start practising at home. One thing led to another and I now have a garden studio where I make my beads and produce a full range of one-off gifts.

I use my glass beads to make jewellery, pictures, ornaments and keepsakes which I sell at craft markets and also here in my online shop. All my pieces are individually made, so are totally unique. I really enjoy what I do and I love working on new designs, hopefully this comes across in my work.

I now offer lampworking classes so you can come and experience the magic of melting glass for yourself.

Beware though, you may just get hooked too!
