1st Generation farmers, Matthew Elphick and Betsie Edge launched Nutfield Dairy in 2020 at Brays Farm in Surrey. Tenant farmers of The Countryside Regeneration Trust they farm regeneratively using the cows to improve the health of the soil and focus on a nature friendly approach.
Milking just 25 native Dairy Shorthorn cows Matthew and Betsie produce live yoghurt and two cheeses. Surrey Red, an alpine style cheese based on a Tomme and a Cheddar named Greensand Bray after the Greensand way which runs through the farm.
