The Denbies Estate, based in Dorking, Surrey, has been family owned and run since 1984. Denbies vineyard was planted in 1986, and since then has become one of the largest wine producers in the UK. Denbies’ core business is agriculture and we are pleased to be able to offer visitors an insight into wine production in the UK. Denbies wine now competes on an international level, including multiple gold awards for sparkling wine production, the first ever gold for an English rose wine and an international gold for Denbies Noble Harvest Dessert wine.
We have several events running throughout the year, from Burns’ Night to the famous Bacchus marathon alongside our daily indoor and outdoor tours. Moreover, we are able to hold your private function with our bespoke packages – whether it’s conference, team building, private dining or your wedding.

Our winery building hosts two restaurants; The Conservatory which serves a range of light lunches, and the 3rd floor a la carte Gallery Restaurant, which features a menu based on produce sourced primarily from the local area and boasts panoramic views over the vineyard.
The Surrey Hills is a beautiful area to live in and while you are visiting do take advantage of the surrounding areas, including 7 miles of public footpath which trail throughout the vineyard. The Gallery Restaurant is located on the third floor of the winery building and has panoramic views of the estate, and our Vineyard Restaurant is located in the heart of the vineyard with sweeping views across the vines.
Our Conservatory Restaurant is open for light lunches daily, and it located in the main winery building.

The Outdoor Vineyard Train tour
Denbies Vineyard Train Tour takes visitors at a leisurely pace to some of the most beautiful viewing points in the vineyard. A recorded commentary enhances the trip making it an informative and comfortable way to experience the magnificent panoramic views of the Denbies Estate and the Surrey Hills.
Indoor Wine Tasting Experience
Enjoy a glass of Denbies Sparkling wine in the cinema followed by a tasting of four of Denbies award winning wines. Length of tour: Approx 1 hour. Glass of Denbies Sparkling wine or soft drink ‘Indoor Cinema Vineyard Tour’. The tour starts in the cinema featuring ‘The Vineyard Through the Seasons’. Learn about the geology and history of the estate and experience the changes in the vineyard through the seasons and appreciate the wine making process from vine to bottle.
