Hampton Estate is home to numerous interlinking activities which have all evolved from the original farming ethos.
Shop
Pedigree beef, wild venison, rabbits, sausages, pies logs and hops are all available for sale from the estate.
Hops
Our hop gardens in Puttenham grow ‘Fuggles’ hops for beer production which are used by brewers throughout the country including Harvey’s of Lewes, The Black Sheep Brewery, Masham and The Hogs Back Brewery. We also sell decorative hop garlands, during the hop picking season (August/September) direct from the hop garden.
Beef Collection Day
We are delighted that traditional English beef, sirloin and rump steak, joints and high quality, succulent mince is available direct from the estate. These will be available to pre order and collect at the monthly Beef Collection Days
Venue Hire
Myrtle’s Courtyard is a very pretty cluster of early Victorian farm buildings nestling in the historic parkland of the Hampton Estate. The former milking parlour (1000sq ft internally) provides an attractive meeting/dining room with two large woodburning stoves supplying heat. In summer the large sliding doors open directly onto the courtyard. There is a small functional kitchen, wcs including disabled and lots of parking close by.
Commercial Property
A converted dairy complex at Shoelands Farm provides state of the art modern offices in an attractive setting. The Manor Farm Craft Centre at Seale provides workshops and a well established tea room.
Residential Property
The Estate has a variety of residential accommodation ‘to let’ ranging from single bed flats to six bedroom houses. Our housing stock is well presented and maintained and offers the opportunity to rent rural properties close to both Guildford and Farnham.
Forestry
Our forestry department oversees the management of the Estate’s award-winning plantations and woodland. We sell a variety of timber products from fencing stakes to woodchips. Dry seasoned logs for the fire always for sale.
Events
There is a considerable array of one off or annual events held throughout the year including cycling days, Woodland Woggle, school and scout camping events and farm walks.
Filming Locations
Accessible to most film studios, and privately owned, both Universal Studios and Warner Brothers have used the Estate as major sets for recent films. Robin Hood (Ridley Scott/Russell Crowe) and Jack The Giant Killer.
Episodes of Poirot and Midsomer Murders have also been filmed recently using Hampton Lodge.
We also have an excellent new site which we hope may be of interest. Please see our new Filming Locations page for further details.
Riding Permit Scheme (RPS)
The Estate Riding Permit Scheme offers permissive access to a number of rides through a variety of picturesque woodlands and bucolic farmed landscapes. The route is accessible from a number of unboxing points and is designed to link up existing bridleways to enable a circumnavigation of the Estate for local riders. Membership is by annual subscription and applications can be made by the submission of the online form here, which also contains further detail on how the scheme runs. For further details please contact enquiries@hamptonestate.co.uk.

The Estate hosts a wide variety of different activities including orienteering, gundog trials, police dog training and local art group study days. There are permissive access routes for easy walking including guided trails on Puttenham Common and both the Farnham Angling Society and The Elstead Riding Club lease facilities for recreational uses.
