Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Surrey village of Ripley just under 5 minutes drive from RHS Gardens Wisley, The Talbot stands as one of the most storied and historic coaching inns boasting many period features from its 500 year history.
Conveniently located just 30 minutes from Central London, The Talbot was once a frequent hitching post for Lord Nelson and is even said to be the site on which his love affair with Lady Hamilton blossomed. The Talbot remains as one of England’s finest coaching inns and has 43 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant and bar and four event spaces – ideal for meetings and events for up to 120.
Lighter snacks, tea, coffee and sandwiches can be enjoyed in our cozy bar which is open everyday for residents and non-residents. Dogs are welcome in our bar and terrace area.

Parking
You will find a large car park available at the rear of the hotel. From September, parking charges will be incurred for stays of two hours or more with overnight parking at £10. Alternative parking spaces are also available on Ripley High Street or opposite the hotel in the Village Green car park.
We have three electric charging points for Tesla and Electric cars. The charge is £12.50 per hour.
