Walk with us through 25 miles of stunning scenery with a rich heritage. The North Downs Way is one of 16 National Trails located in England and Wales. Stretching across 153 miles (245km) it passes through two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – Kent Downs National Landscape and Surrey Hills National Landscape. We are walking 3 sections, Wye to Chilham, Chilham to Canterbury, Canterbury to Adisham (in reverse), plus optional Canterbury city walk.

The trail is rich in pilgrim heritage and lies on a unique and geologically important chalk ridge. The route passes through many protected sites of specific scientific interest (SSSI) and is home to a number of rare species which are hard to find anywhere else in the UK.
