With Lisa (Forest Bathing Guide) & Emma (Artist & Drawing Facilitator)

Guided by Lisa, our time together begins with a slow, mindful walk beneath the trees—an invitation to tune into your senses, open to the quiet wisdom of the forest, and simply be. Through a series of gentle, guided invitations, you’ll be supported in finding stillness, presence, and a deep sense of calm. As you settle into this space, you may begin to remember what it feels like to be truly part of nature—not separate from it.

Interspersed throughout our forest bathing journey, Emma will guide you in a series of simple drawing practices designed to deepen your creative connection with the natural world. This is an opportunity to free up creativity and discover new ways of drawing amongst the woods. You’ll be encouraged to see differently—exploring texture, shape, and line—and to both connect and disconnect with your senses in playful, intuitive ways. Using found tools, charcoal, pencil, and ink, you’ll fill your sketchpad with interesting studies and fresh perspectives.

To close the session, we’ll bring our focus inward again with a mindful, expressive large-scale drawing—one that connects your natural flow, body, and chosen tools in a final gesture of presence and creative release.

We end our time together with a gentle herbal tea ceremony, allowing you to connect with nature through your sense of taste and inner feeling. Sipping tea gathered from the land invites us to integrate the experience, ground ourselves, and offer gratitude for what we’ve received.

This will be a fully immersive experience, where nature not only holds and nourishes us, but also inspires reflection and expression. Many participants leave with a renewed sense of balance, a deeper creative spark, and a felt sense of reciprocity with the land.

NO ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE is necessary. All materials will be provided. Just bring your curiosity, presence, and a willingness to slow down. In case of rain, if needed, the art portion of the morning event will be held indoors.
