This walk takes you around the beautiful village of Blackheath near Guildford nestled in stunning pine forests and colourful heathland. During spring these slopes turn into carpets of purple haze, with its native bluebells transforming the heathland into stunning scenery. With our local knowledge we will guide you on some of the most beautiful bluebell paths with stunning views to take time to appreciate natures awakening and new growth.

Your guide, Jen Slade is a nature enthusiast and will happily share some of the mysteries of the Bluebells in England, and there will be plenty more to be observed in this species-rich forest. Blackheath is a SSSI, (site of special scientific interest). You can grab a coffee and cake before or after the walk at the Coffee Van, Pull & Pour – normally open on Sundays 9-1pm.

Difficulty: Easy paced walk with some smaller inclines
Duration: Approx 2.5 (2h walking and optional 30min+ gathering at the village green/or coffee van)
Coffee: Coffee Van Pull & Pour is normally open on Sundays 9-1pm.
Bring: Suitable and comfortable clothing, boots/walking shoes or drink, snacks, money for coffee van
Facilities: None en-route, nearest Pub is the Percy Arms, Chilworth
