Foraging Mushrooms
1 November 2025 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Forage Mindfully, Walk with Confidence. Deepen your connection to nature by learning to forage wild mushrooms with care and awareness.
In this guided walk, we’ll focus on identifying one or two delicious, beginner-friendly species, such as the penny bun (porcini) and bay bolete or winter chanterelle and hedgehog mushroom, so that by the end, you’ll feel more confident in recognising and foraging them safely and ethically.
We’ll move slowly and attentively through the woodland, tuning in to the landscape and learning how to forage with respect for the ecosystem. Our time together ends with a small tasting of wild food prepared with foraged mushrooms, and a quiet moment to absorb the calm that only time in nature can offer.
**Please note:** As mushrooms are highly weather-dependent, if they don’t appear in time for the walk, the session will be rescheduled. You’ll have the option to join the new date or choose from other upcoming foraging walks.
