Herbal Medicine Workshop – Christmas Presents!
6 December 2026 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Festive herbal medicine workshop exploring teas, salves, oxymels and traditional remedies, with foraging and handmade gifts to take home.
Join us for a festive three-hour journey into the world of herbal medicine, exploring the traditional uses and beautiful qualities of everyday botanicals. This hands-on workshop is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, learn something new, and create thoughtful handmade Christmas gifts for friends and family.
HERBAL APOTHECARY
Together, we’ll create a selection of simple herbal preparations such as teas, salves, oxymels and other traditional remedies. You’ll learn about the plants we use, their traditional properties and how they can be incorporated into a home herbal apothecary. You’ll take home the preparations you make, beautifully packaged and ready to enjoy or give as unique, handmade Christmas presents.
WHO
Perfect for beginners, plant-lovers and anyone who enjoys making thoughtful gifts by hand. No previous experience is needed — just curiosity and a love of plants.
FORAGE
Weather permitting, we’ll begin outdoors, taking a gentle walk around the garden and surrounding landscape to identify some commonly used medicinal plants and learn more about their traditional uses.
A relaxed and festive morning of herbs, making and connection — with plenty to take home and share at Christmas.
