Jen’s Nature Hike – 8-10km Polesden Lacey and Ranmore
12 June 2026 @ 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Join us for Jen’s Nature Hike- A 9km (5mile) loop around historic Polesden Lacey and scenic Ranmore.
These walks are for Nature lovers, who love to hike but also take a pause to observe nature around us. An invitation to absorb the positive influence nature has on our mental health.
Join us for a beautiful walk through the historic Polesden Lacey estate, a 1,400-acre National Trust landscape set high above the Surrey Hills. With roots dating back to Roman times, this area offers sweeping views, rolling downland and ancient woodland. (We won’t be going into the house.)
We’ll also explore Ranmore Common, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, rich in wildlife and peaceful woodland trails. A varied and scenic walk combining history, nature and far-reaching views.
What to expect on Jen’s Nature walks?
Jen (AKA ‘Tree Jen’) is a keen hiker and qualified Lowland Leader with a passion for nature, and has a special interest in woodland trees, plants and wildlife/ birds. With each tree revealing a unique narrative, Jen loves to tell the story of the woodland and how trees connect, communicate and adapt to their environment. Ancient trees are her favourite, with their quirky characteristics and unusual growth patterns.
