New Hike – 16km Autumnal Chiddingfield to Haslemere Circular

A new 16km Countryside Walk from Chiddingfold to Haslemere.

Enjoy a picturesque autumn walk through some of Surrey’s most beautiful countryside, passing gorgeous villages, woodlands, and rolling fields between Chiddingfold and Haslemere.

This area lies within the Surrey Hills National Landscape, a region known for its timeless rural charm, traditional architecture, and scenic footpaths winding between farms, forests, and commons. It’s a peaceful stretch of countryside where ancient lanes, historic churches, and tranquil ponds reveal Surrey at its most idyllic.

We’ll begin in Chiddingfold, one of Surrey’s prettiest villages, where we’ll visit St Mary’s Church and enjoy views across its green and duck pond. The route then meanders through woodlands and farmland, past hidden cottages and lakes, before finishing in the charming market town of Haslemere, with its timbered houses, quirky cafés, and independent shops.
