Open Garden at Christopher\’s

This August, Christopher’s will be opening for the National Garden Scheme for a fourth year!
The garden space at Christopher’s is particularly enjoyed by families, having been specifically designed with the needs of the children we support in mind. It features adapted play equipment and sensory trails, as well as open areas to sit and reflect.
In 2022, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices were delighted to welcome a beautiful garden courtesy of wealth-management company Brewin Dolphin. The garden was donated and repurposed from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show silver-medal winning Brewin Dolphin garden, created by acclaimed garden designer Paul Hervey-Brookes, and designed with sustainability at its heart.
As well as exploring the garden you’ll also be able to enjoy tea and some home-made sweet treats baked by our wonderful volunteers.
