This is your chance to explore this charming town, whilst learning some new photography skills. You will learn how to photograph winter sunsets, festive light, rustic wintery scenes and how to capture your your own messages or shapes created with sparklers and torches. This is a perfect way to personalise your Christmas cards this year! (Sparklers will be provided.)
The walk is suitable for hiking beginners as it is slow paced on an easy walking trail.
Godalming is a quaint Surrey market town with a long history of weaving and knitting, still visible today, giving it a unique charm. It is also famous as one of the film locations of the Hollywood Blockbuster ‘The Holiday’, of which we will visit some of the film locations and the Titanic memorial in memory of former resident Jack, the radiographer of the Titanic. The river Wey stretches alongside the town and with some opportunities for wildlife and wintery landscapes.
