Deer Fencing Mullard Space Science Laboratory
The Mullard Space Science Laboratory has applied for £2,495.53 to install deer fencing around a newly planted orchard, with trees generously donated by SCC. Staff and students of UCL have collaborated to plant the orchard, designing it with a clear open space at the centre, which is intended for events, educational talks, and mental health breaks.
Installing the fencing will protect the young trees from deer and rabbits, ensuring they can thrive and grow successfully, thereby supporting the orchard’s long-term viability.
