Hedge planting and fencing Clive Greenland Partnership

Clive Greenland applied for £26,529.34 to fence and hedge plant around grazing fields in Wonersh.  These open fields are on very sandy soil and prone to run-off in heavy rain, so it is hoped that planting hedges across the grass fields will help to slow and capture water and stabilise the soil with the hedge roots. The hedges were planted by a large group of volunteers and also the applicant’s family.
