Horse Drawn Mini Baler Daniel Brown Horseman

Daniel Brown applied for £5,328.00 to purchase a mini baler that could be pulled behind his heavy horses when making hay. The baler can be used on sensitive sites and sites where access for big machinery is not appropriate, the work can be carried out with minimal impact on sites that are environmentally, ecologically or archaeologically sensitive. Problems with access may be solved by using horses rather than machines. The use of horsepower ensures that carbon emissions are kept to a minimum. The ongoing management using horses is environmentally friendly and creates education opportunities for school and other local organisations, enables positive engagement with public and ensures survival of rural skills.
