Hedge Planting Knowle Park

Scroll Down

Knowle park applied for a new 600m hedge to be planted along the boundary next to a private landowner. It was believed that this was a historic hedgerow, but all that was left now was a few trees along the boundary.

The new hedge will increase biodiversity attracting new habitats and enabling exiting habitats to be connected and improved. It will also prevent the general public from walking in areas that are private, but also teach them of native species that thrive in these habitats.
