Hedge Laying Manor Farm

A grant of £1943.50 was awarded to the Matthew’s family to cut and lay the existing hedge row to allow for rejuvenation of the hedge, top bindings and stakes will be installed to provide strength to the hedge while the new growth begins.

This project will extend the life span of the hedge and allow for the hedge to thicken from the base therefore, providing more protected habitats for several different species of animal. The location of this hedge will join up existing hedgerow and newly planted hedge plants providing connectivity for wildlife.
