Mini Baler Sayers Croft Educational Centre
Sayers Croft applied for £3,059.28 to purchase a mini baler, following the recommendations of a conservation report. The report emphasised the importance of removing cuttings from the fields to prevent nutrient build-up in the soil and to manage encroachment from the surrounding woodland.
The meadow plays a vital role in the educational activities of the centre, hosting over 20,000 children annually. It serves as both a classroom and an experiential learning space where children can explore the meadow and discover the rich variety of species and biodiversity across the landscape.
