Mob Grazing Equipment Lydling Farm
Lydling Farm applied for a grant of ยฃ2,249.90 to install a temporary electric fencing system to enable mob grazing of two paddocks as a small-scale trial with a view for expanding if it is deemed successful.
This mob grazing system, introduced during a Pasture for Life workshop, aims to work in harmony with nature while enhancing farm profitability. By allowing grass to undergo extended rest periods between grazing sessions, the system promotes healthier soils, which in turn boosts cattle productivity.
