Pond restoration Birtley Estate

The Birtley Estate applied for £11,525.28 to restore two woodland ponds which had become heavily silted up over the years. The project also included the repair of the dam between the two ponds and the construction of a wooden dipping platform to enable the educational groups that use the woodland to have safe access to the pond.
