Volunteer Tools For Maintenance Wey and Arun Canal Trust
The Wey and Arun Canal trust applied for £9,975.86 to purchase a two wheeled tractor with attachments and a winch, to enable safer working conditions for volunteers on the canal. The equipment will also improve public access along the towpath for multi- users of the path year-round. Recently the paths had become overgrown and multiple trees had fallen down. The equipment has already enabled the removal of these hazards to make a more enjoyable and user-friendly space.
