Water Bowser Surrey Countryside Partnership
SCP applied for £3,606.20 to purchase a water bowser, supporting volunteers in managing their sheep herd on a chalk grassland SSSI. Previously, volunteers had to manually transport water containers to the field to fill the trough. The water bowser streamlines this process, enabling safer and more efficient management of the sheep. With its larger capacity and mobility, the bowser requires less frequent refilling and can be easily towed to new grazing areas, facilitating effective and sustainable grazing practices.
