Thermal Scope for the Wotton estate deer management

Scroll Down

The assisting management agent for the Wotton Estate requested a 40% grant of £1,819.98 to purchase a thermal scope to allow them to control deer numbers efficiently and humanely. The thermal scope will allow the operator to see and assess the surrounding area as heat sources can be picked up in both open and dense areas, making it safer to take the shot.

The management of the deer on the estate is important to protect the vital habitats such as woods and arable areas.
