Grazing Between The Hops- Romlit Ltd
Chris Milton applied for £561.47 to purchase grazing infrastructure to allow him, in collaboration with The Hogsback Brewery, to graze between the hops after harvest.
The benefits of grazing sheep between the hops are:
- Natural weed control
- Fertilisation
- Aerating soil
- Reducing the breweries carbon footprint
The project also included the purchase of warning signs to ensure the public keep away from the electric fence and a safe distance from the livestock.
