New ways to EXPERIENCE the Surrey Hills

We are delighted to be supporting fellow AONB, the Kent Downs, the North Downs Way National Trail and Visit Kent in an exciting new EXPERIENCE project. The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and aims to promote sustainable tourism, support local businesses, increase off-peak visitation and showcase all the incredible experiences, activities, businesses and beautiful countryside along the North Downs Way National Trail and across Surrey and Kent.

As part of this project the Surrey Hills AONB will be working with the team to develop brand new experiences and itineraries that connect countryside businesses with our public rights of way, improve infrastructure and accessibility into the countryside as well as highlighting the wonderful trails and nearby attractions we have.

Calling all Surrey Businesses located within 5km of the North Downs Way National Trail

The project is looking to hear from all kinds of businesses from attractions and accommodation providers, to artists, musicians, food producers, photographers and more! If you have a great idea for a new experience, an idea for collaborating with another business or an existing offer which could be adapted for a new audience, this programme could help.

So if you or someone you know is looking for something new, loves the outdoors or has a countryside business that needs help attracting walkers and cyclists and is located within 5km of the North Downs Way then please get in touch with the Team.
