Newlands Corner commands some of the best views over the Surrey Hills and is a great place to start a walk with plenty of woodlands to explore. The crime writer Agatha Christie staged her disappearance from Newlands Corner in 1926.  She was found days later in Harrogate!

Newlands Corner recently saw the opening of the new Discovery Centre by Surrey County Council, where you can discover and be inspired by the natural landscape.

There are many public footpaths and bridleways available, but some of them are steep and sometimes slippery on the chalk surface.
