Surrey Hills Enterprises Tree Planting day

We are holding a Members tree planting day with fifth-generation farmer and fellow Member, Angus Stovold.  We plan to plant native hedgerows at Lydling Farm, which will create vital wildlife corridors in the landscape along the footpaths and rights of way used by the community.

It will be a lovely opportunity to get out into the fabulous Surrey Hills and to connect with fellow members.

Native hedgerows will help to support and encourage species such as barn owls, hedgehogs, and dormice. Angus is committed to promoting biodiversity on his farm and there are already rare Grey Partridge, Skylarks and Corn Buntings present on the farm.

We would love it if you could join us in planting a variety of native tree species for both people and nature to enjoy!
